Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL), 50-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Riverdale upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Glenwood (Chatham, IL) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 19. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Glenwood lost 37-32 in their recent non-league bout against Pekin (Pekin, IL)

Next up, the Pretzels play the Springfield Senators (Springfield, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 19. Freeport will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Senators come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 68-41 non-league loss to Washington (Washington, IL).
