Illinois High School Basketball - Geneseo fells Sherrard
November 19, 2022: Geneseo, IL 61254 Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sherrard Tigers (Sherrard, IL), 43-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Geneseo upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Maple Leafs travel to Quincy (Quincy, IL) to play the Blue Devils in a Western Big 6 bout on Tuesday, November 22. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Quincy lost 35-25 in their recent non-league bout against Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL)
Next up, the Tigers play the Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL) in a Three Rivers - West bout, on Monday, November 28. Sherrard will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 58-46 non-league loss to Warren (Warren, IL).
