Georgia High School Basketball - Glynn Academy knocked off by Wayne County
November 19, 2022: Jesup, GA 31545 The Wayne County Yellow Jackets basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Glynn Academy Terrors to 21 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Yellow Jackets now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Long County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 22. Wayne County will battle a Blue Tide team coming off a 37-30 non-league loss to Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA). The Blue Tide record now stands at 1-1.
The Terrors (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ware County (Waycross, GA). The Gators enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Ware County ran past Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA), 46-24, in a non-league contest.
