Texas High School Basketball - Hico thwarts Zephyr
November 19, 2022: Zephyr, TX 76890 The Hico Tigers (Hico, TX) basketball knocked off the host Zephyr Bulldogs (Zephyr, TX), 28-18 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tigers (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Hamilton (Hamilton, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Hamilton went down by Goldthwaite (Goldthwaite, TX), 33-25, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cross Plains for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 22. Zephyr will encounter a Buffaloes squad coming off a 39-34 non-league loss to Gorman (Gorman, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 7-1.
