The Veterans Memorial Chargers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Madison Mavericks to 37 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Chargers now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Churchill for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 19. Veterans Memorial will battle a Chargers team coming off a 56-46 non-league loss to Edinburg (Edinburg, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 6-4.
