The Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX) basketball nipped the host Rowe Warriors (McAllen, TX), 40-33 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Chaparrals (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX). The Rangers go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Vista Ridge was tipped by Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX), 60-37, in a non-league test.
