Sumner Stingrays (Riverview, FL) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Spoto Spartans (Riverview, FL), 67-57 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Sumner advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Stingrays travel to East Bay (Gibsonton, FL) to face the Indians in a non-league match on Friday, November 22. The Indians enter the match with a record of 2-0. East Bay won 61-30 in their recent non-league match against Middleton (Tampa, FL)

The Spartans now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Strawberry Crest for a non-league match on Wednesday, November 20. Spoto will face a Chargers squad coming off a 69-58 non-league win over Hillsborough (Tampa, FL). The Chargers record now stands at 1-0.
