Illinois High School Basketball - Vandalia holds off Altamont
November 19, 2024: Vandalia, IL 62471 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Vandalia Vandals basketball team scored a close 53-46 triumph over the Altamont Indians.
The Vandals (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL). The Lancers go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Lincolnwood nipped Bunker Hill (Bunker Hill, IL), 30-26, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Indians confront the Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 22. Altamont will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 41-33 non-league win over Terre Haute South Vigo (Terre Haute, IN).
