Texas High School Basketball - Whiteface can't hold off New Home
November 19, 2024: Whiteface, TX 79379 New Home Leopards (New Home, TX) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Whiteface Antelopes (Whiteface, TX), 33-26 in a non-league match.
With the victory, New Home advances its record to 4-1 on the year. The Leopards travel to Whitharral (Whitharral, TX) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Thursday, November 21. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 4-1. Whitharral lost 66-40 in their recent non-league match against Idalou (Idalou, TX)
The Antelopes now own a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Midland Christian for a non-league match on Friday, November 22. Whiteface will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 34-31 non-league win over Borden County (Gail, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-0.
