November 19, 2024: Sigourney, IA 52591 The Sigourney Savages (Sigourney, IA) basketball crushed the visiting Van Buren County Warriors (Keosauqua, IA), 36-10 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Savages now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Albia for a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 26. Sigourney will play a Blue Demons team coming off a 34-9 non-league win over Moravia (Moravia, IA). The Blue Demons record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Van Buren County falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Cardinal (Eldon, IA) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Monday, December 2. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Cardinal lost 56-7 in their recent non-league bout against Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA)
