Mississippi High School Soccer - Columbia toppled by Franklin County
November 19, 2024: Columbia, MS 39429 Franklin County Bulldogs (Meadville, MS) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, MS), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Franklin County advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Loyd Star (Brookhaven, MS) to clash with the Hornets in a Class 1 Region 7 test on Monday, December 9. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 6-3.
The Wildcats now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host North Pike for a non-league test on Thursday, November 21. Columbia will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-4.
