Florida High School Basketball - Lake Brantley overwhelms DeLand
November 19, 2024: DeLand, FL 32724 The Lake Brantley Patriots basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host DeLand Bulldogs to 36 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Patriots now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Apopka for a game on Friday, November 22. Lake Brantley will confront a Blue Darters team coming off a 38-35 non-league win over Winter Park (Winter Park, FL). The Blue Darters record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, DeLand falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Mount Dora (Mount Dora, FL) to confront the Hurricanes in a non-league game on Monday, December 2. The Hurricanes go into the game with a record of 2-1. Mount Dora won 72-57 in their recent non-league game against Trinity Catholic (Ocala, FL)
