The Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC) basketball edged the visiting Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC), 37-30 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to South View for a bout on Friday, December 13.

With the loss, Fairmont falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Golden tornadoes host Lumberton (Lumberton, NC) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, November 22. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Lumberton won 56-44 in their recent non-league bout against Hoke County (Raeford, NC)
