The Sickles Gryphons basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host Wharton Wildcats to 41 in the Gryphons non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Gryphons now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Steinbrenner for a 6A District 10 game on Friday, November 21. Sickles will confront a Warriors team coming off a 79-52 non-league win over Durant (Plant City, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.

The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Freedom (Tampa, FL). The Patriots enter the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Freedom was overwhelmed by Tampa Bay Tech (Tampa, FL), 74-44, in a non-league outing.
