Illinois High School Basketball - Armstrong toppled by Deer Creek-Mackinaw
November 19, 2025: Armstrong, IL 61812 Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs (Mackinaw, IL) backers went home thrilled Wednesday as they saw their basketball team thwart the host Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL), 68-52 in a non-league contest.
The Chiefs (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Watseka (Watseka, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Watseka topped Clifton Central (Clifton, IL), 57-38, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 1. Armstrong will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
