The South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) basketball were winner over the host Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC), 38-27 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smithfield-Selma for a non-league test on Friday, November 21. South Johnston will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 48-14 non-league loss to West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.

The Raiders (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Triton (Erwin, NC). The Hawks come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Triton was knocked off by Harnett Central (Angier, NC), 49-28, in a non-league test.
