California High School Basketball - Schurr can't get by South Hills
November 19, 2025: Montebello, CA 90640 South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Schurr Spartans (Montebello, CA), 36-30 in a non-league match.
With the victory, South Hills advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Huskies host Sierra Vista (Baldwin Park, CA) to meet the Dons in a non-league match on Friday, November 21. The Dons enter the match with a record of 0-2. Sierra Vista lost 46-43 in their recent non-league match against El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA)
The Spartans now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilson for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 25.
