Second Baptist Eagles (Houston, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting St. Thomas Episcopal Saints (Houston, TX), 72-67 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Second Baptist upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Cooper (The Woodlands, TX) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Friday, November 10. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Saints play the Ryan Raiders (Denton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 24. St. Thomas Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
