Arizona High School Flag Football - Mountain Pointe holds off Desert Vista

The Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) flag football tipped the visiting Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ), 19-16 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Pride now sport a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they host Notre Dame Prep for a 5A East Sky outing on Tuesday, November 5. Mountain Pointe will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 9-7 league loss to Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ). The Saints record now stands at 2-10.

With the defeat, Desert Vista drops to 6-5 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ) to clash with the Aztecs in a 6A Central outing on Tuesday, November 5. The Aztecs come into the outing with a record of 3-10. Corona del Sol lost 13-7 in their recent league outing against Xavier College Prep (Phoenix, AZ)
