In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting West Ashley Wildcats basketball squad scored a big 43-13 victory over the May River Sharks .

With the victory, West Ashley improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 22. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Fort Dorchester won 57-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Allendale-Fairfax (Fairfax, SC)

Next up, the Sharks confront the South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 23. May River will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
