Ohio High School Ice Hockey - Aurora drops to Avon Lake
November 20, 2022: Avon Lake, OH 44012 Avon Lake Shoremen (Avon Lake, OH) fans left the game thrilled Sunday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Aurora Greenmen (Aurora, OH), 9-1 in a league match.
The Shoremen (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Strongsville (Strongsville, OH). The Mustangs enter the match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Strongsville was trounced by Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH), 4-3, in a league match.
Next up, the Greenmen encounter the Canfield Cardinals (Canfield, OH) in a non-league match, on Sunday, December 11. Aurora will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
Game Summary
The Sunday night showdown between the Avon Lake Shoremen and the Aurora Greenmen saw lots of action and lots of goals. Unfortunately for Aurora it was the Shoremen doing most of the scoring. Konner Nilson, William Hood and Nate Leprevost all scored 2 goals on the night. Kevin Graney, Adam Jento and Brady Gibel added to the scoring as well. Plenty of assist on the night to go along with the goals. Kooper Nilson, Konner Nilson, Kevin Graney and Nate Leprevost all had assist.
