November 20, 2023: Holly Springs, MS 38635 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Byers Lions (Holly Springs, MS) and the visiting Nettleton Tigers (Nettleton, MS), saw Byers's basketball squad wallop Nettleton by a tally of 65-36.
With the victory, Byers improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Middleton (Middleton, TN) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Okolona Chieftains (Okolona, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 30. Nettleton will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 63-38 non-league loss to Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS).
