November 20, 2023: Whitesboro, TX 76273 The Commerce Tigers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Whitesboro Bearcats to 52 in the Tigers non-league victory on Monday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Farmersville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 21. Commerce will battle a Farmers team coming off a 82-49 non-league loss to Gainesville (Gainesville, TX). The Farmers record now stands at 1-1.
The Bearcats (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Leonard (Leonard, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Leonard prevailed over Wolfe City (Wolfe City, TX), 71-39, in a non-league contest.
