November 20, 2023: Englewood, TN 37329 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the McMinn Central Chargers (Englewood, TN) and the visiting Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA), saw McMinn Central's basketball squad wallop Coosa by a tally of 71-37.
With the victory, McMinn Central improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to North Murray (Chatsworth, GA) to confront the Mountaineers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 21. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. North Murray won 87-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 21. Coosa will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 82-52 non-league win over Excel Christian Academy (Cartersville, GA).
