November 20, 2023: Lake Forest, CA 92630 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA) and the host El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA), saw Portola's basketball squad overcome El Toro by a tally of 67-55.
With the victory, Portola improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, CA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 21. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Capistrano Valley won 53-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA)
Next up, the Chargers confront the Norco Cougars (Norco, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, November 22. El Toro will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 76-66 non-league loss to Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, CA).
