West Ashley Wildcats (Charleston, SC) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Military Magnet Academy Eagles (North Charleston, SC), 62-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Ashley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to North Charleston (North Charleston, SC) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Eagles play the Andrews Yellowjackets (Andrews, SC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 22. Military Magnet Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 63-28 non-league win over Lowcountry Leadership (Hollywood, SC).
