The Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX), 40-36 in Monday's non-league test.

The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Abilene (Abilene, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Abilene got by Snyder (Snyder, TX), 64-31, in a non-league test.
