Georgia High School Basketball - Athens Academy trounces Apalachee
November 20, 2023: Winder, GA 30680 The Athens Academy Spartans (Athens, GA) basketball crushed the host Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA), 44-18 in Monday's non-league test.
The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Starr's Mill walloped Banks County (Homer, GA), 51-34, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Banks County for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 21. Apalachee will encounter a Leopards squad coming off a 51-34 non-league loss to Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA). The Leopards record now stands at 1-2.
