Iowa High School Basketball - Ottumwa can't hold off Fort Madison
November 20, 2023: Fort Madison, IA 52627 The Fort Madison Bloodhounds basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the visiting Ottumwa Bulldogs to 36 in the Bloodhounds non-league victory on Monday.
The Bloodhounds now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Davis County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Fort Madison will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 67-52 non-league loss to Pella Christian (Pella, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Mt. Pleasant was nudged by Pella (Pella, IA), 72-19, in a non-league contest.
