Tennessee High School Basketball - Franklin County nips Grundy County
November 20, 2023: Winchester, TN 37398 Franklin County Rebels (Winchester, TN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Grundy County Yellowjackets (Coalmont, TN), 48-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Franklin County upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Rebels host Warren County (McMinnville, TN) to play the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Sequatchie County Indians (Dunlap, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Grundy County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
