Arizona High School Basketball - Combs trounced by Desert Sunrise
November 20, 2024: Maricopa, AZ 85138 Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks (Maricopa, AZ) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Combs Coyotes (San Tan Valley, AZ), 70-9 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Desert Sunrise advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Golden Hawks travel to Dysart (El Mirage, AZ) to meet the Demons in a match on Thursday, January 9. The Demons enter the match with a record of 1-0.
The Coyotes now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marcos de Niza for a non-league match on Friday, November 22.
