California High School Basketball - Oceanside trounced by Steele Canyon
November 20, 2024: Oceanside, CA 92054 Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Oceanside Pirates (Oceanside, CA), 48-17 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Steele Canyon advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Palo Verde Valley (Blythe, CA) to meet the Yellow Jackets in a non-league match on Friday, November 22. The Yellow Jackets enter the match with a record of 1-0. Palo Verde Valley won 15-12 in their recent non-league match against Holtville (Holtville, CA)
The Pirates now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Carmel for a non-league match on Friday, December 6.
