California High School Soccer - Maywood Academy toppled by Banning
November 20, 2024: Wilmington, CA 90744 Banning Pilots (Wilmington, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Maywood Academy Nighthawks (Maywood, CA), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Banning advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Pilots travel to Legacy (South Gate, CA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league battle on Thursday, November 21. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 1-0. Legacy 1-1 in their recent non-league battle against Bravo (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Nighthawks battle the Alliance Bloomfield Bulls (Huntington Park, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, November 22. Maywood Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Bulls enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Loara (Anaheim, CA).
