The ALA - West Foothills Guardians basketball squad (Waddell, AZ), was crushed 85-61 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Gilbert Christian Knights (Gilbert, AZ)

With the victory, Gilbert Christian improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Knights host Skyline (Mesa, AZ) to battle the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 29. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Guardians battle the River Valley Dust Devils (Mohave Valley, AZ) in a 3A West battle, on Monday, December 1. ALA - West Foothills will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Dust Devils enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 66-60 non-league win over Mohave Accelerated (Bullhead City, AZ).
