In Thursday's non-league test, the Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA) basketball squad got by the host Oak Ridge Military Academy Eagles (Oak Ridge, NC), by a score of 56-54.

Next, the Chiefs encounter the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) in a Virginia Independent test, on Tuesday, December 2. Carlisle will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Barons enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 62-61 non-league win over Greenfield (Wilson, NC).
