Texas High School Basketball - Mesquite can't hold off Houston Christian
November 20, 2025: Mesquite, TX 75149 Houston Christian Mustangs (Houston, TX) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their basketball team tip the host Mesquite Skeeters (Mesquite, TX), 76-75 in a non-league contest.
The Mustangs (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX). The Bobcat go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Byron Nelson was tipped by Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX), 58-49, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Skeeters confront the Tyler Legacy Raiders (Tyler, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 21. Mesquite will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 65-57 non-league loss to Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX).
