The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Agricultural Science Cyclones (Chicago, IL) and the host Thornton Wildcats (Harvey, IL), observed Agricultural Science's basketball team edge Thornton by a score of 33-28.

The Cyclones (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Shepard (Palos Heights, IL). The Astros enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Shepard was nudged by Marist (Chicago, IL), 72-20, in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rich Township for a Southland battle on Tuesday, December 2. Thornton will meet a Raptors squad coming off a 59-26 non-league loss to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Raptors record now stands at 2-1.
