The Independence Tigers basketball team scored 37 points and limited the visiting Baker Buffaloes to 33 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amite for a non-league outing on Monday, November 24. Independence will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 61-37 non-league loss to Loranger (Loranger, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
