The Cartersville Hurricanes basketball squad (Cartersville, GA), was outscored 47-39 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA)

The Jaguar (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Hillgrove knocked off Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, GA), 46-39, in a non-league battle.

The Hurricanes now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dalton for a AAAA Region 7 battle on Tuesday, December 9.
