Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Inglewood Sentinels (Inglewood, CA), 40-30 in a non-league contest.

The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Marshall (Los Angeles, CA). The Barristers go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Marshall was toppled by Santee (Los Angeles, CA), 56-25, in a non-league contest.
