November 20, 2025: Lacassine, LA 70650 In Thursday's non-league test, the Grand Lake Hornets (Lake Charles, LA) basketball team were winner over the host Lacassine Cardinals (Lacassine, LA), by a tally of 62-48.
The Hornets now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bell City for a non-league bout on Saturday, November 22. Grand Lake will play a Bruins team coming off a 68-44 non-league win over Florien (Florien, LA). The Bruins record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Lacassine falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, LA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, November 21. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Pleasant Hill lost 51-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Merryville (Merryville, LA)
