November 20, 2025: Hoxie, AR 72433 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hoxie Mustangs (Hoxie, AR) and the visiting Hillcrest Screamin Eagles (Strawberry, AR), witnessed Hoxie's basketball squad run past Hillcrest by a count of 54-46.
With the victory, Hoxie advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR) to meet the Falcons in a non-league match on Friday, November 21. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 1-2.
The Screamin Eagles now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to East Poinsett County for a non-league contest on Monday, December 1. Hillcrest will battle a Warriors team coming off a 42-36 league win over Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
