The Washburn Pirates bounced the visiting Knoxville Ambassadors Ambassadors basketball squad by a final score of 83-9 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Pirates now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host West Greene for a non-league bout on Saturday, November 22. Washburn will play a Buffaloes team coming off a 42-28 non-league win over University School (Johnson City, TN). The Buffaloes record now stands at 1-0.
