The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA) and the visiting Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA), observed St. James's basketball team edge Slaughter Community Charter by a score of 30-28.

The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against A.J. Ellender (Houma, LA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Lutcher Bulldogs (Lutcher, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 22. Slaughter Community Charter will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 42-35 non-league win over East Jefferson (Metairie, LA).
