Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) backers went home thrilled Thursday as they saw their basketball team smash the host Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC), 54-26 in a non-league contest.

The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Seaforth was trounced by Southern Lee (Sanford, NC), 25-18, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pirates confront the South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 25. Corinth Holders will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Trojans enter the outing with a 0-1 record after their 25-21 non-league loss to Midway (Dunn, NC).
