Mississippi High School Basketball - Memphis East tops Tupelo
November 21, 2022: Tupelo, MS 38801 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Memphis East Mustangs (Memphis, TN) and the host Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS), saw Memphis East's basketball squad knock off Tupelo by a tally of 74-57.
With the victory, Memphis East improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to McEachern (Powder Springs, GA) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 22. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. McEachern lost 78-69 in their recent non-league challenge against Duncanville (Duncanville, TX)
Next up, the Golden Wave play the Huntsville Panthers (Huntsville, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 26. Tupelo will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 50-47 non-league loss to Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL).
