The Alexandria Trojans basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Tioga Indians to 36 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Trojans now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Hill for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 22. Alexandria will meet a Rams team coming off a 71-53 non-league win over Plainview (Glenmora, LA). The Rams record now stands at 10-2.

The Indians (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Avoyelles (Moreauville, LA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Avoyelles was outscored by Walker (Walker, LA), 72-24, in a non-league contest.
