Louisiana High School Basketball - Liberty Magnet topped by Barbe
November 21, 2022: Lake Charles, LA 70605 The Barbe Buccaneers basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Liberty Magnet Patriots to 48 in the Buccaneers non-league victory on Monday.
The Buccaneers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hathaway for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 22. Barbe will battle a Hornets team coming off a 45-35 non-league win over Ruston (Ruston, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 6-2.
The Patriots (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fairview (Grant, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Fairview was defeated by Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA), 58-53, in a non-league contest.
