Texas High School Basketball - Rains knocked off by Gilmer
November 21, 2022: Gilmer, TX 75644 The Gilmer Buckeyes basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Rains Wildcats to 51 in the Buckeyes non-league triumph on Monday.
The Buckeyes now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hallsville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 22. Gilmer will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 53-30 non-league loss to Sunnyvale (Sunnyvale, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-3.
The Wildcats (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ford (Quinlan, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Ford ran past Miller Grove (Cumby, TX), 42-24, in a non-league contest.
