Iowa High School Basketball - North Butler nips South Winneshiek
November 21, 2022: Calmar, IA 52132 North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host South Winneshiek Warriors (Calmar, IA), 46-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, North Butler upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA) to play the Vikings in a Corn Bowl bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Warriors play the Clayton-Ridge Eagles (Guttenburg, IA) in a Upper Iowa bout, on Tuesday, November 22. South Winneshiek will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
